I just got back from taking Sandy for a walk. She is just the best behaved girl. People think greyhounds are hyper, but they are just the opposite. Big old couch potatoes. They are sprinters, so a long long run is hard on them. Just a nice walk is all they need. At least it got me off my butt and outside. It is almost too warm again, but still tolerable. Later on it will be too warm. The dog doesn't like the heat either.

If anyone is ever interested in a dog for a pet, consider greyhound adoption. They are just the most wonderful companions. Kind of like a gigantic cat in dogs clothing, only friendlier.
