loveofgreysWe are back from Virginia. Aside from a little run in with one granddaughters mom, all went pretty well. We loved seeing our daughter. The other granddaughter is from Hubby's son's marriage. ( He was killed when he was 21, 1990) Boy, family's are complicated.
Hit bad rain in Georgia, but all in all, not too bad overall. (I washed the car as soon as we got home.)
I have always thought I was without prejudice, but when I find a motel that is obviously owned by someone from the mid-east, I felt uncomfortable staying there. Before, I used to laugh about how many hotel/motels they owned, but now I avoid them. They always treated us with a little disdain, I thought. I hope I get over this feeling, I don't like it and I know I am being unreasonable. Shame on me.
