Thoughts about the road

loveofgreysWell, we are still talking about taking that road trip this summer. Will travel the southern route in the spring, up the west coast then north in the summer.
It has been many years since we traveled like that. We have already made the decision to use the smaller (not too small) cage for the birds. MDH built a nice one that even matches the motor home, but we need a lighter one we can handle easier. We have one we used before.
Then, if Trader isn't adopted by the time we leave, I guess we will take him with us. I am not sure about that part yet.
We don't like to plan our route too much. We will just sort of wing it. Every time we ever planned a trip, we never got where we originally planned.
We will be able to make reservations as we go. When we traveled before, we did not have a cell phone or wifi.
1994 was when we settled down in Tucson after traveling.
I am planning on getting an air card, even though many campgrounds have free wifi.
We might have to be without a campground sometimes.
Whew, this will cost a bunch, but will be fun, I hope.
I think I will miss all my creature comforts, like a dishwasher, and washer/dryer. Oh, and room.
