We are going to bring the motorhome "home" on Friday. Then I have to figure out what I need to put in it. I have duplicates of many things since our 'Move from Hell' when we had stuff in storage and lived in the old mobile home in 2004. I am looking forward to taking a Shakedown Cruise in it We got a magazine for workkampers, so maybe we can work a few hours somewhere this summer and pay for our camp site. We actually worked two summers in Yellowstone in the 90's, but want someplace closer to home. Then have to figure out a larger cage for the birds if we are going to be gone for a month or two. The traveling cage we have is ok for a week or two, but I would like them to have a bigger one for a month or so. Hubby will figure that out. It will sit on the drivers seat when we are stopped, and we will figure out where it can travel.
This motorhome has two slide outs. (Livingroom and bedroom) I will post pictures when it gets home. The slide outs make it nice and roomy inside.
It is a 1998 Dutch Star made by Newmar Corp. 29' feet long which is short for a Class A motorhome. (When we fulltimed we had a 35 foot motorhome after we had a 32 foot fifth wheel) A Class C is built on a van frame and has the over-the-cab bed, or storage. A class B is very small van conversion type thing.
A Class A is a motorhome frame, heavier duty.
I guess that is more info about RVs than you ever cared to know.
