OMFG!!! What have I done?
Oct. 17th, 2005 11:40 amI saw an ad in our once a week paper last week about a job that is for a QuickBooks person which is the program I have worked with since 1994 when it first came out.
I decided to go by and put in my resume after the weekend because when I read it, I was on my way to a bridge game.
I stopped by today and filled out an application (sort of) and had a brief interview already.
They said they had a couple of others to see, and they would get back to me.
The pay is low around here, but I could still use the money. I really don't know if I want to work fulltimeanytime but it is a very low key type of place.
I made sure they had an accountant, because sometimes people want you to do their accounting for them, but they do have one who keeps tabs on everything.
I am pretty much a data person, payroll etc. and have used QuickBooks for years, but for what they pay, that is all they are getting, a data processor.
We will see if they need an old fat broad to work for them. LOL.
I can not imagine there are very many people with the experience that I have who live here, but who knows?
