Well we will be on the wet side of this hurricane. Looks like we will be staying here. We are not in a flood area, so heavy rains are just that, heavy rain. Actually, we live close to the highest point in Florida. 200+ feet above sea level. LOL. Hopefully, we are far enough away from the landfall.

This is a nasty storm.

Called the campground next door. They are filling up fast due to evacuees. I offered them a couple of overflow sites here.

I just hope we made the right decision to stay here. So far, so good.

It's telling us that most of the direct hit danger to us is past. I sure hope so.

I feel for the poor people in it's path. I also feel for the evacuees. Been there a couple of times. It sucks.

Hummmm cable just went out briefly, but still have internet? Very strange. I imagine there will be lots of weird things in the next couple of days.

I can still use dial up if I have electricity.
