Another hot sweaty dog walk here in Florida.

I see there is a little storm action out in the Atlantic. Another reminder to make sure we are ready if we need to evacuate.

As a matter of fact, we left the storm shutters up on the two spare bedrooms since we seldom go in there.

Lowes

They are building a Lowes in our little burg. I wonder why? You would not think we had enough people to support it. You think they got word that we moved here?

I wish they would finish it.

Today we drove over to Crestview to go to breakfast and Lowes to look at possibilities for our fence by the motor home, and tile accents for the bathroom.

The kitchen back-splash is finished and it looks great. We also have indoor outdoor carpet under the hot tub, and we want to tile that screen room, too.

Sounds like the grand-daughter did not make it to the next round in American Idol. We aren't surprised. She sings ok, but nothing that really stands out.

She is 18 and knows everything. I did too at 18.
