(no subject)

Walked dogs.
I have been playing bridge on line and it is taking a while to get my 'mojo' back. You play with people from all over the world and the most frustrating part is that the connections are not as good some places as others so they get knocked off in the middle of a game.

Even here if there are storms it can happen. It happened to me last week.

Still, it has been fun playing again. This fall we hope to play in person at some major tournaments so my partner can get her gold and silver points.


She kind of let me down once when we lived in Tucson, so I am a little leary of getting to enthused . We had a good partnership started I thought and she went in a different direction and kind of left me hanging briefly. I guess maybe that is why I am a life master and she isn't?

I need to get over myself and have fun, so I will.

Garden and Stuff

Our container garden is starting to produce. The tomatoes are wonderful and there are many more coming. We picked our first bell pepper and it was so sweet. The lantana is taking over the place!!! The plants are much larger now. There is one lemon tree waiting to go in the ground. Hubby started them from seeds. They made it through the winter and he put one in the ground earlier in the year. This one needs to go in soon.

I washed dog beds today and made a cake. Seems like I wash dog beds every other day. I try to only do it once a week, but sometimes they just can not wait.

More bridge this afternoon, maybe.

A silk purse out of a sow's ear!!

MDH is putting up a new back splash in our kitchen. We have a mobile home, and it just has dry wall. We did have a tile border that we ordered with the mobile home, but now he is putting up the back splash. It really looks great. You can see in the picture the part that is done. The rest of counters will have the same thing eventually.
