Sep. 8th, 2007 11:12 amThe little State Park Campground in Florala is really nice. Beautiful little lake. We enjoyed our stay.
Had dinner with my 'old' office buddy. She is doing fine, and says she refuses to be stressed, so I am glad of that. I will miss the money, but not the job.
As MDH said. "He probably did me a favor" I can not see it staying open much longer with no cash flow, and now I don't have to deal with all that and all the drama, so I guess I am broker, but better off.
I might/might not apply for unemployment. I just don't know, it is a pain in the ass, but the money would be helpful. I will think about it.
If he decides to fight it, I won't go that route, however.
All in all, I am fine, and glad to be home.
We are still thinking about a trip around the US starting in the Spring. We were thinking of a cruise (our 30th anniversary) at one time, but we can not really afford it, and never could figure out what to do with the animals.
