I bought a sewing machine last year. I have used it twice. (I got a D in Home Economics because my sewing skills suck.)

Now, I am attempting to make a coat for my dog. I bought one out of solar fleece, but it is very light weight. Greyhounds are not outdoor dogs. They have fine coats and very little body fat to keep warm.

Lucky it doesn't get too cold here. Anyway, I am making one that has flannel on the inside and quilted on the outside. So far, I have cut it out. I hope she is not too embarrassed to wear it.
