Temporarily Stalled

We are in Stateville North Carolina where we have decided to stay an extra day due to the rain. We are sick of driving in the rain and it is dangerous, so we decided to stay and wait for better weather.

Phone is adequate for the internet so far. Alltel and Verizon are connected some way, so we have pretty good coverage.

Will see the kid and grandkids Saturday sometime, we hope. We don't really know what the situation will be like once we get where we are going.

Any storms in the gulf? Hope they come when I am gone.

Hope for better weather tomorrow. Everyone is sleeping except me right now at 10:30 AM Eastern Time.

the sun is finally out. Tomorrow we will be back on the road roadskoller

I am looking forward to seeing part of the Blue Ridge Parkway. The longest National Park I think. 400+ miles. We have driven the Natchez Trace, but not the BPW.

No commercial vehicles are allowed, so no trucks.
