Back from the groomers. Got the same old crabby dog back, but he is cleaner and prettier.

Hubby has medical tests coming up this week. This pretty much freaks me out cause I just can't make myself do doctors. Good on him.

Our friends are coming next weekend instead of Christmas weekend. They are coming for a 'sleep over' with their dog so they don't have to eat and drive 50 miles in the dark after dinner.

Then we have decided to go to the daughters for Christmas. This means going to a Christmas play on Christmas eve that our grandson is in.

I swore I wouldn't do this, but she called and asked, and it might be fun.

Christmas Bridge party/game is Saturday. I promised I would go, but really don't want to. I am taking a cheese tray from Sam's Club. Best I could muster up. I am still not feeling the season.

I am cooking a prime rib next week. Really a standing rib, no prime beef seems to be available, and just as well since this cost enough by itself.

Got my reservations at the Days Inn in Fredericksburg VA. $45.95 per night plus $5 for the dog. Not too bad at all I don't think.

We chose not to stay at their house. Best for all concerned.
