Finally got through to the Red Cross in the city next to us. Offered an RV Site, and rooms for volunteers. I want to do something as I am sure everyone does.

What idiot decided that the president needed to tour the damaged area? they really need to deal with that don't they?

I am so very disappointed in the stupidity of this presidency.

The reporters are going to need to be debriefed after this is over. They are so frustrated by the lack of response for water and food for the refugees in New Orleans.

Why isn't it airlifted? I am so Pissed off that we are not doing more, and doing it faster. I know I am not there, but 3rd world countries do better than this.

Whew, just like back in the 70s when gas was hard to get.

We have cancelled a trip we had planned.

I also opted to not play bridge tomorrow. 45 miles one way.

They need it in the South East mostly.

I think I might be manning the phones next week. We will see. I have offered.
