Cake

I am going to make hubby a cake today!! Tomorrow is his birthday. He is now old enough for SS which kicks in in Sept.

I seldom make cakes, so it will be a treat!!! I certainly don't need any though.

Tomorrow I have another dental appointment. Hopefully my last for a small filling. Then just cleaning three times a year. I am very tired of the dentist. I was doing pretty well, but now I am running out of money, so it is time for it to be done.

Peppers

Can anyone tell me why Bell Peppers are so expensive? Red and Yellow peppers, too.

We have tons of them on three plants. I am running out of things to do with them, any ideas on that?

Stuffed peppers tomorrow, and some in the freezer.

My name is Kathy, and I am a reality show junkie. However, I just saw that show "Hell's Kitchen" was on and I really hated the only one I watched. The chef is a big jackass. I can not believe he helps anyone learn anything.

I am hooked on "Blow Dry" and that guy is a piece of work too, but I really like that show. I don't even know why I like it so much.

I am going to go read a book now. I am done with my kitchen duties until the cake cools.

Bridge again on Friday. Partner's daughter is leaving early. After not playing for over a year, I am enjoying my new partnership, and she seems to really like playing with me, too.

Tire Saga

Remember Saturday when I had a flat on my less than one year old tire? Wal-Mart said the DOT rules said they could not repair it? Well, that is either so much BS, or Wal-Mart has too many rules. The tire place fixed it and put it back on the car.

Hubby said we would not take the tire back since we drove home on it, and did tell them to put it on. It is sitting in our shed for the time when the tires need to be replaced. I guess we will be a jump ahead. Now we are $100 poorer.
