loveofgreysI have been helping some new friends learn to play bridge. I have surprised myself that I have been so patient.
I don't know how I fell into this role, but I really don't like to teach anyone anything.
The good part is that I have made some really nice new friends.
We got a new thermostat for our central air and heat at Lowes. Roy installed it and now he has been trying to program it with some success. We wanted to have one that would turn the air on at a certain temp or the heat without our interference. Sometimes we need the air to come on because: We live in Florida!
I need to study the book when he gets done. So far he has wrangled it into doing what we want, but we both need to figure it out. Instead of the $200 I thought it would cost, he got one at Lowes for about $70 which was a nice surprise. Hopefully we can figure it out. We had a fancy one once before in Destin, and we finally got it to just do the two things we wanted. We don't want it to turn on and off 3 times a day when we aren't home, etc. Most of the time we are here and we want the dogs to be comfortable if we are gone.
