loveofgreysWell I have started playing duplicate bridge again. Friends are just learning and I started out helping them learn, and now have a few dates to play with the teacher they had. Might even play in a tournament in January. Very nice to really get back into playing the game the way it should (imho) be played.
Went to lunch yesterday at a Ryans that gave veterans a free meal. The thing is, they then charged $2.49 or so for the drink. That seems kind of chintzy to me.
Anyway, it really was an excuse to go out with some friends who are also vets.
Boy, there were a lot of old people there, lol.
