(no subject)

Roy is going fishing today with one of our goofy neighbors. He has not taken his little boat out in, well, forever! Since we put in the new carport so he would have easy access to the boat. I hope he enjoys himself.

We are having a new water heater installed on our deck so it is closer to our shower and outside the house in case it ever leaks. (We always have to run the water a while until the hot water gets to our shower) We hired plumbers to come and repipe the lines and we are also putting in a whole house water filter to replace the filters in the house that Roy has trouble getting to. One under the kitchen sink, one in the bathroom, and the one to the icemaker in the fridge.

We also are having some kind of finishing gable ends put on our metal roof we had installed a couple of years ago. We absolutely have to quit spending money and right now! We have put way more money in this place than we will ever get out of it, but it is very comfy for us now.

(I am really not convinced about the water heater, but it will be nice to have the hot water where it is really needed.)
