My sister arrives this afternoon from California. Then, tomorrow I get my first Christmas present which is having my car detailed. I sure hope they do a great job, I love a clean car, and it was expensive. I will drop it off on my way to work. Also, I suspect we will be getting the foster dog in about 5 or 6 days.

Oh, overstock.com did call the carrier and they are picking up the TV today. All in all, not a terrible experience. It would have been better if the TV had not been defective, but all is working out. I would use them again, but not for a tv.

My sister missed her connecting flight in Chicago/O'Hare. She felt so bad. She said if she was 20 she might have made it. No big deal. She will only be about 3 hours later. I feel badly for her. She is 60 today.

My sister is still stuck (on the runway) at O'Hare and will now miss her flight out of Dallas and will not be here today. This is exactly the reason we do not fly at all anymore. Oh, and because of her back, she is in a wheel chair.

Giant Cluster Fuck

My sister called from Dallas/FW. She will be put up in a hotel overnight, and I told her to get them to feed her too because she will try to eat the salami she is bringing me if they don't feed her.

Also some of my sour dough bread.

The freight company that was sending a truck to pick up the TV, remember that? Well guess who never showed up for that. Overstock will be looking into it, in the mean time, I still have a f...ing broken TV on my credit card sitting in my storage shed. Overstock really is not to blame this time, this time it is Fed-ex.

Next, the office was supposed to be closed from the 21st to the 3rd is not and my boss wants me to work on the 29th. Well I don't think so, and what a great time for him to try to ask me to do anything. I am in such a terrific mood. I am going to go in tomorrow for a few hours maybe and find out what the scoop is on that. Yesterday my boss and I had one of our real blow-ups that we have not had in months, I am not too happy with him right now.
