Well, I read that a peaceful threat to the Tali ban, and Afghanistan is this:

Either turn over Bin Laden or we will send all your women to college.

My sister called the other night, wonder of wonders. She says she still plans on coming for Christmas. The company she works for closes over the Holiday for maintenance. I will believe it when I see the whites of her eyes.

7 years sober for her and still a ding bat. Nice, but a ding bat.

We also decided to go see our daughter for Thanksgiving. It is a two day drive, but this will be the first Holiday we have spent with her family, so in order to legitimatize one of our reasons for moving here, we decided to go. We are staying in a motel though. That point is not negotiable.

Looks like family holidays for us this year.

Wish I was going to Hawaii with a new digital camera instead. LOL.
