Storm Watch

Waiting for TS Arlene. Just the leading edge of rain so far, but lots of wind and rain expected.

Storm, tornado, and flood watch here. Pretty heavy winds at landfall, but it is weakening somewhat.

Why do I live here?

I see the midwest is getting pounded by storms, too.

I feel like I know Jim Cantori personally. (He is the storm guy from the weather channel)

I have a picture of the day we moved into our house last year and Jim Cantori is on the TV Screen!! (Just before we evacuated for Ivan)

Some damage around here still from Ivan.

Filled the tub with water. Went to get gas for generator. We actually used the generator last year for a day after we got back from Ivan. 270 days since Ivan.

Storm is about 8 miles off the coast now.

We have a roof leak in the utility room, and it has not been that bad. Have to call the manufacturer Monday.

Electric company actually trimmed all the trees around power poles in our area this past week.

Storm is Gone

Almost into Alabama now. Almost into Alabama now.

Tropical storm Arlene, goodbye.

We live about 15 miles from the Alabama Border. We are East of where the center landed, but got most of the "wet side"
