Went over to new friends house who wanted help installing Windows XP on his (at least 5 years) old system. I said to him that I would be more than happy to help him, but unless money was a big factor, my advice was to buy a new computer. Do not open the XP box and get a refund from Sam's Club. He has a 13 inch monitor!!!

I went online at Dell and ordered him a bare bones system, $751.00 free delivery and free printer and free digital camera. Whew. I paid that for my flat screen. The only extra I ordered was the cable for the printer. (how can they sell without it?)

I think he will be happier. It amazes me what the new technology sells for now. He can get a refund on his XP upgrade.

Cleaned house this AM, typical Saturday.

Well, I am sick and tired of spam. I have been getting more and more. Stevenh sent me a link, but I lost it. Right now I am trying "Ihatespam" which is recommended in PC World. 30 days free then just $19.00 to buy if I like it.

I went to price line, put an even cheaper price in, and Score!! they accepted it. My sister better accept it too!!!

I do have to drive a little further to Pensacola, but am saving $150.00.

Now, I must find patience for having my sister here for two weeks.
